Desktop Support Engineer

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team and provide high-quality technical support and IT service delivery to our valued clients. This role is ideal for someone with a solid technical foundation, a proactive approach, and a strong commitment to customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Service Delivery

  • Install, configure, test, and maintain IT and phone systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support, both remotely and on-site.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across a range of IT environments.
  • Support and maintain PCs, ensuring systems are updated with antivirus, backups, imaging, and patching.
  • Implement and support Microsoft 365 solutions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update CRM records to reflect client interactions.
  • Plan and prioritise workload according to service level agreements (SLAs) and client needs.
  • Provide professional, customer-focused service by responding promptly to client inquiries, managing support requests efficiently, and identifying opportunities for system improvements.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT support role.
  • Proven ability to support and implement Windows Infrastructure.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows Desktop OS and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.

 

Desirable Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Modern Work solutions.
