Spammers collect email addresses from chatrooms, websites, customer lists, newsgroups, and viruses which harvest users' address books, and are sold to other spammers.

What should I do if I get Spam in my inbox?
Never respond to spam, even something as simple as "Don't spam me" will show that your email address is valid. Just delete the spam and contact us to sign up for our Anti-Spam.
Isn't spam illegal?
In New Zealand we have the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007, which says "A person must not send, or cause to be sent, an unsolicited commercial electronic message that has a New Zealand link".
